While surfing the net last night I came across the American designer Joshua DeMonte. Who's work is truly outstanding more then jewellery they are sculptures that seem to have come out of a fairy tale. The beautiful arches, rooftops, windows, staircases he creates do not enhance the landscape but your body. He describes his collection as objects that have 'defined architectural space around the body, altering our perception of the figure' and in my opinion also of traditional jewellery design. His pieces are not on sale but who knows what the future holds for now I can assure you he has talent.
