Not Fashion But I Have To Tell You About It

These past few days I seem to be up to a lot of fun stuff, you see one of my new year's resolution is to make the most of London and life in general, and very recently I have been successful in accomplishing this.  On Saturday I went to the screening of my short film, or better said a short film for which I did costume for.  It was screened at the BAFTA (cool, huh?) it is a film called 'Little Changes' more about this film another day, what I wanted to tell you about is my amazing luck. So after the screening there were drinks and we were sharing a hall with the people who were waiting to go into the next screening which, is an award winning documentary called ' Made in Pakistan'.  We got chatting to people and the guy who made the film let my two friends and I into the screening for free!! The documentary was really interesting and I strongly recommend it.

The good luck however, doesn't end there on Tuesday evening I went to meet a student filmmaker to talk about maybe helping with costumes in his next film and at the end of it he asked me if I wanted to go to another screening of a british film that is to be in cinemas in April. It sounded interesting so I went along, little did I know that this film was going to be hilarious and the director was present to talk to us about it after the screening!!!!  I ended up having an amazing time and I must must must recommend you watch this film when it is out. I know this post is not fashion related but I felt that I have been so blessed these past few days with all these invites to screenings that I owe these lovely filmmakers a thank you and why not advertise their work because it is honestly fab!  Tuesdays film by the way is called 'The Infidel'  see trailer below.
