Junior Bazaar, early 1950's Forgive me for not posting for a while, I have been away on holiday to the beautiful Spanish island of Tenerife. Fresh sea air, a stay at my cousin's house on a hill overlooking the South of the Island and evening swims in their pool which I had all to myself!! Amazing food and lovely company were all perfect ingredients for a much needed break away from London. I love love love London but I am convinced I belong to the seaside and warm weather, after all I am from Barcelona.
I love the above picture from the early 50s, the different shades of blue are just sublime. Below a picture from one of the shoots I styled last year, it was shot on a beach in Essex. The weather was terrible: grey and drizzly, the poor model was freezing but the end result is beautiful in my opinion.
