1st Aril 2010 Dr. Martens completed 50 years and the brand is really getting out there to celebrate asking 10 different artists to record a classic song of their choice that they think best represents the kind of people who have worn Dr. Martens over the past 50 years. In addition ten different directors have made videos for these reinterpretations of classic tracks. Currently three of these are available to watch on You Tube and Dr. Martens' website. Below is a promotion video of the celebration and a documentary of the brand and shoe's history which I really enjoyed watching. The documentary is less then 10 minutes long but does a fabulous job in giving you a taster of what Dr. Martens has and does represent. Also Keep an eye out for Kate Lanphear, Style Director for US Elle Magazine, loving her style.
