The milliner Piers Atkinson's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection ‘It Is Later Than You Think’ which in several articles is described as narrating 'a tale of tragedy, despair, murder and redemption'. In my opinion is a beautiful, gothic, and quirky collection, that resonates with Tim Burton's work. The best way I can think of describing the collection is as the 39 looks for the evil widow in a 1940s, film noir movie, worn by a 'femme fatal' type character. Of course, she would be an extremely fashionable femme fatal! Images of the entire collection can be found on Piers Atkinson's website, below are some of my favourites.
