I have meaning to go to the Whitechapel Gallery to see the exhibition: Where Three Dreams Cross: 150 Years of Photography from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, for months now. I finally went to see it yesterday, and I am so glad I did. It is one of the most moving exhibitions I have ever been to, of course the subject matter is close to my heart since I have Indian roots and I'm always keen to learn more of Indian history and culture. But the exhibition is more than a collection of images from a certain part of the world, it is about people, their life's, society, history, relationships, and experiences. I don't think I can express myself well enough in words to share with you how I felt and what I experienced in this show. However, I will add below some of the images that I found inspiring. The exhibition ends tomorrow so if you enjoy photography and have the time, I strongly recommend it.
